Privacy Policy

LendPaper is operated by LendNote LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. LendPaper is a free tool for commercial lenders, brokers, and ISOs. We built it to be useful, not to harvest your data. This page explains plainly what we collect, why, and how.

What we don't collect

LendPaper does not require account creation or login. No personally identifiable information is needed to use any calculator, lookup tool, or reference on this site. Your deal inputs — loan amounts, rates, borrower details — are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored by LendPaper.

1. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used — which tools are opened, how often, and from what general geography. This data is aggregated and anonymized. We use it to decide what to build next.

GA4 sets cookies and collects standard browser signals (IP address, device type, referral source). This data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy. GA4 is disabled on localhost and preview environments.

2. Feedback forms (Formspree)

The "Suggest" widget and "Propose a term" form let you submit optional feedback. These forms may collect:

Your idea or term suggestion (text you type)
Your role (Broker, Loan Officer, Lender, or Other)
Your email address, if you choose to provide it

Submissions are sent to LendPaper via Formspree, a third-party form service. Your submission is used only to improve LendPaper. If you include your email, we may reply personally — we won't add you to a mailing list or share your address.

3. Cookies

LendPaper uses the following cookies and local storage:

GA4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — analytics, set by Google, expire after 2 years
sessionStorage keys (lp_rotation_message, lp_update_attempt, lp_tue_thu_pref) — session-only preferences for greeting display, cleared when you close the tab

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from any ad network.

4. Third-party services

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for advertising or commercial purposes.

5. Children's privacy

LendPaper is a professional B2B tool intended for adults working in commercial lending. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LendPaper after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
